At Villa Sant' Annina
Morning study sessions held in the shade outside, from 9a.m. to 12.30p.m. every day (with a coffee break) will be followed by a delicious vegetarian lunch. Each afternoon is yours to enjoy 4 acres of lovely grounds dotted with numerous olive, fig and other fruit trees, a large kidney-shaped swimming pool and a full-sized tennis court. Or, you can visit the sea and beaches 15 minutes drive away; the beautiful local town of Cisternino, 5 minutes away; drive to four other lovely towns only 15 minutes away; go for long country walks (we supply maps!) or bicycle or even horse rides. Local festivals, olive presses, archaeological sites and a visit from a local guitarist and singer (plus prosecco) are all on the agenda for attendees plus an evening Shakespeare film show. Excellent restaurants and cafes abound and local markets offer wonderful fruit, vegetables, cheese etc. at very reasonable prices. The local wines are delicious and cheap and the ice cream is to die for!
Shared accommodation is in three self-contained apartments with full self-catering facilities:
'Melograno' on the ground floor has four double bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom), a large family bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen and very large sitting room/dining room with a private terrace.
'Limone' and 'Mandarino' are accessed via an external staircase to the first floor, both have two bedrooms, one king-sized double and one twin-bedded room, a separate kitchen, bathroom and living room and share a very large sun terrace with views out across the rolling countryside.

Local supermarkets and shops are within easy distance. Cheap local restaurants abound to cater for all tastes. There is WiFi connection in the villa.
It is advisable to share a hire car with others (pick up from the airport) and we can facilitate this, but a local taxi service is also available. Early booking of flights to either Bari or Brindisi can save a lot of money.
